cant seem to log on to roadrunner racing web site. was wanting to take a look at a few things! anyone have a link? thanks

Looks like they forgot to renew their domain and it's been pinched.

At least if it's http://www.roadrunnerracing.co.uk/ which is what totalkitcar have down as the url.

Yes, but it's clearly one of the bottom feeding companies that jump in and deliberately register domains people haven't renewed and then screw cash out of them to get it back. They have no interest in the 'roadrunnerracing bit beyond getting cash from a small company who are trying to run a business and, usually, haven't been reminded by their registering company in time that they need to do some admin.

Without wanting to drag this topic too far off topic I can kind of see where your coming from here. This domain in particular is pretty much only of use to the business behind it.

But dont forget it is the owners job to renew and failing that nominet will send an email and a letter to remind you (providing the details are up to date - which you are contracted to keep up to date).

Having caught names on the drop myself i can see from both sides. Though I only buy generic domains and ones to develop myself.
