Tyre Advice for Tin Top Required

Hi, I've got 235 /45 / ZR17 tyres

I'm doing 200 motorway miles a day and looking for something that will work well in both wet and dry conditions.

Preferably that also looks "sexy" on my a4 cab

Any suggestions folks

Goodyear Eagle F1 - fantastic in wet or dry. (But crap on mud, snow and ice - I have a spare set of steelies with Nokian WRs for the winter).

I have the F1s in 225/45ZR17 on my BMW 330d and they never put a foot wrong.

You may want to drop from 235 to 225 as it will save you a considerable sum. I've never understood why Audi insist on such big rubber for even their lower powered cars.

Agree on the Goodyear Eagle -- very good under traction and braking, but shop around. Dunlops tend to be very good in the wet as are Avons.
