Not sure if your spelling mistake should have been

GRAND

or

BLAND

Didn't they just play the German National anthem instead of the Spanish one? Sounded very much like D.D.Uberalis to me!!!

BenB - 23/8/09 at 01:13 PM

You mean Sir wants tyres as well as more fuel???

Doh!

scootz - 23/8/09 at 01:46 PM

Were the tyre guys on a tea break?

Mike

To hell with the tea, those of us that get up at 06:30, need cereal and coffee

Richard Quinn - 23/8/09 at 04:06 PM

Cock up in the pit but the misstake was really leaving him out for an extra lap when he was comming up behind traffic. Went in with 4 seconds to spare and came out 4 behind. The tyres not ready to go didn't loose him that much.

didn't they say at the start of the race that the track was on a 5 year contract, which means it still has another 3 yrs remaining

but im with you guys, i don't think i saw one overtaking move after the first couple of laps

scootz - 23/8/09 at 07:35 PM

Yep... lovely facilities, but a complete non-event!

Silverstone - now there's a track that can sit with the best of them. Pity the facilities are not to Bernie's liking (doesn't seem to stop the race day being a sell-out though!).

What the hell, lets just go and build some more circuits in faraway places that have lots of money and want the kudos, but have no local interest in F1.
