As some of you may know, last year I was diagnosed with with a very nearly fatal Lymphoma
linky it is over a year since i had the last clear scan and 11 months since my stem
cell transplant.
They say that experiences like this make you turn your life around and live for the moment. Well it isn't that easy and the time since the all
clear has been the most difficult time of my life by far.
This last couple of weeks have been different though. I've felt happier, my wife and I are moving house untill our new house is built (plans
passed finally!) I've taken up golf and am having lessons in fingerstyle guitar. The new workshop is nearly complete and ready for building to
continue and I enrolled to top up my BEng to Masters through the OU too.
Positive steps!
Thanks to everyone who sent messages and have offered support!

good on ya mate, all the best to you both with your new home,
your recent health issues are close to home with me too, not me myself but a close family member.
all the best mate.

Good to hear that you are feeling more positive. Good luck to you both in your new workshop, err home!!
Good to hear the positives stories as well as negitives glad to hear you getting back to the things you like.
Cancer scares the poo out of me and I always make note of your posts - you give me a little hope that if ever I catch / develop it, I can beat it.
Glad to hear things are looking up - and I note how you've got priorities right, build the workshop before the house
Really good news - I always think that sometimes when you see or experiance that kind of illness how much you learn to value your time and your
friends, I wish you all the best and keep us posted
