Just had 4 days of open roads and absolutely brilliant roads, in North Yorks (Askcrigg), up into the lake district Kendall, Windemere pooley Bridge,
Kirkstone pass then across to Bridlington and back Home. roughly 600 miles start to finish.
Recomend it to anyone

That sounds incredible! what did you do it in?
Did you prebook B&B's? or just book as you arrived?

it is really nice around lakes/ kendal area. its just that because we are uesd to it and have lived here all our lives, we dont seem to appreciate how lucky we are. the roads around windermere and kirkstone are really nice!
When mine is otr, i want to do a few days of driving and that sound like a good area to drive in
Lucky git
You'ld appreciate them if you lived in Norf London. The roads round here are shite. Even if you head out into the sticks you just end up on
speed-bump ladden roads with speed cameras at every corner..... Unless you head south of the river it's pretty barren here.... there are a couple
of nice roads just inside of the M25 but they're few and far inbetween...
I usually only ever see good roads when I'm travelling around in the DERV tintop... It's comfy (french) and does good mpg but corners are
not it's thing...
I drove my locost derived car and the bro in law took his MK Indy. pree booked hotel in Ascrigg. Wanted to camp but the weather was too unreliable
