Recently had a new Sky card delivered and since putting it into the receiver wierd stuffs been occurring, after changing channel the picture freezes after a minute or so and when pulling up the viewing menu it tells me the channel is in live pause when it aint.
Anyone else had the same problems.

I had some funny stuff going on with mine. Only little things like you described, but it really wound me up. Then the remote wasn't being "seen" by the box (I did the obvious like new batteries and on/off) so I phoned to complain and was greeted with typically rude staff, so in the end just said I wanted to cancel. They sent an engineer that sunday and all was fine (for free).

Mines been messed up since the new card too, keeps going off and back to the 998 channel, recordings failing and generally being crap.

Not bothered sorting it out yet as I am rapidly forming the opinion that Sky is absolute cack and not worth the money. Never owt decent on!

No problems with mine yet.

Think Ive sorted it powered the receiver off from the mains for 2 mins then powered back up, it wouldnt switch on at first and I thought I'd have to reset it and lose what had been recorded but after a couple of mins it switched on.
Its not freezing now and the picture seems clearer.

Have you got your box outputting in PAL or RGB?
RGB gives a much clearer pic on my LCD telly
