If you're interested in turbines, would strongly suggest you have a look at http://www.gas-turbines.com/squirt_2.htm#videos and look at the "on the
grand" vid.
It's an outfit called Nye Thermodynamics who built a boat - with a 1400 hp turbines. Think engine only weighs about 140 lbs.

it is very easy to fit, front engine, turned 90o to wot it was in bike, gear linkage made up to give a stick in normal place in tunnel, some pics in locolubes bit in photos section,
