Linky
how much do you think i could haggle off it and what sort of things should i be looking out for when buying this car, early wear and tear points ,
milage of cam belt change etc?
Cheers
Alex

Never buy a silver car. Ihad a silver civic and no matter what i did to it or how much i polished it, it never looked 'special'
I dont like them.. they look awful.
Oi speedy, i was going to paint my kit silver....... maybe i should look fr some metal flake or something.... hmmmm...
When someone posted about vinyl wrap the other day, i did think about a lightning mcqueen replica, but then whilst goos for the kids, street cred
would go through the floor!!!

For that sort of money a Cupra FR TDI should be doable!

I used too own one of those and they are great little cars. Driving it was fun and the slightly different bodyshell makes it 'feel' faster
than is brother the mk4 golf.
Sadly I drove mine through a large puddle. I thought thats a big puddle going across the road. I waited watching the cars drive through it and then
followed a fiesta through. Thinking if a fiesta can get through then I can. Nope! Wrote it off.
I now own a Golf mk4 GT TDI 150 and I think yours has 130. I could swear that the Leon 'felt' faster though.
Every 60k cam belt.
My tip after owning and writing one off: Great car avoid puddles. I think I liked it better than my golf actually.
As above, Cupra Teritory for that price...
Silver, or shiny grey cars are the colour of mist, fog, drizzle and road spray. They may look lovely in the summer sunshine but they are invisible in bad weather. I always avoid this colour when buying a car.
I've got a silver/grey merc GL as a company car and agree that it never looks particularly clean but i have never had a problem with "invisible car sindrome" and i do about 45K a year. mind you, it is as big as a house..

silver cars are popular becasue they don't show up the drit . about 1/2 the cars in our works car park are silver - lazy bastids.
don't like'em myself but the it is not me who is buying so don't be put off by the anti-silver brigade.
I love silver cars
Too bad, i couldn't find the car that i liked to buy in silver.
In my experience, flat (off) white is the easiest colour to keep clean as most dirt you pick up is pale. To me silver looks cheap and Saabs and Mercs
are the only cars that do silver well, unless were talking really shiny silver which does look good.
I personally don't like SEATs but if its what you want go for it.
2 things....
1. Top car, but get a Cupra/FR TDI for that money.
2. Crap colour, get Ovni Yellow or Black Magic
