in the sunny south of all places?!?!?!
rained on Sat, rained yesterday and pi^^ing down outside.
at least it meant I didn't go out anywhere so started investigating my dead crossflow.
Count yourself lucky, its hailstones and ice here. The roads to work were white, did a nice handbrake turn in the carpark too
bikes now hibernating
in the garage
Because of the rain here, I have a small stream running under my car in the garage!!
I believe most of us will have ice tomorrow, Yaaay (not)
Wish I had the b*lls money and job to move to another country where driving in the sun would be the norm.
Now imagine that.
Hmmmmmm!
No rain here but went out on damp roads yesterday to try out new top wishbones.
Won't do that again, very scary. No wonder there is nearly
always a post this time of year where someone bins their car.
Be careful.
Steve
As I walked out to my tin-top this morning at 6:30 I could hear the rainwater overflowing out of one of my gutters...
...so that's another job that needs doing when the rain finally stops!
I need to do it on a day that's (a) a weekend, (b) going to be dry all day. Item (b) is because getting my 3-way ladder out is a major job that
takes me at least 30 minutes, and includes rolling out the locost onto the drive and leaving it there until the job's done.
What's the chances of a long dry day on the weekend? Slim, very slim.
I got my car on the road a few weeks ago, I've managed 3 x 15 minute drives
I get about 5 miles from home and it starts to pour down! GRRRRRRR indeed!
I may actually cycle more to work now as the roads are on the brink of flooding near me. The fields are full and the rivers are brimming. One more continuosus downpour and they'll be overflowing.
