I have just bought a second hand car that the previous owner says still has MOT

They cannot find the ticket thou.

Is there anyway I can check online?

yes - I asked this same question in last 2 weeks - quick search will reveal all.

you need the V5 to be able to do it.

(I never did since I found the MOTs )
