As long as you were after a camera it is a good decision. Not so good if you were after a toaster.

Ive got a Canon EOS 300D which is good enough for me. Never tried the Nikon, but from memory they felt very light...

Great camera very light and old 35mm lenses fit.

Got the missus a D60 last year and she loves it until she tries to use some of the manual things... Then she swears a lot
