4" at home - I felt like an 'Ice Road Trucker' driving to work, where there's rain!

Yep it's pretty cold this morning here as well.

You must be a bit inland for it to be so cold though.

`Metcheck' says it's snowing here............started at 9 AM and will continue all day.....funny thing is , I was just outside and it aint !
But it was piggin' cold last night - it looked like it had been snowing , the frost was so thick

trextr7monkey - 29/12/09 at 01:26 PM

at quarter past 7 [as my wife left for work ] it was -4 here that's about 10 miles south of Carlisle. Cold enough for snow but none yet. First chance we have had to test my daughters little Jimny on the packed ice and was suitably impressed

boggle - 29/12/09 at 02:18 PM

Living in Blaenavon; work in Llantrisant.

Still raining in Llantrisant, but its unlikely that I'll get home. Looks like I'm heading for my folks' after work.

It's flipping cold here in Norf London. I'm doing up my house and as well as no boiler or radiators I've had to take out most of the ceilings so it's like an icy wind tunnel. Then again this morning my car temp registered a relatively tropical 1 deg C at 07:50.

The plaster is setting on a geological time scale....

Confused but excited. - 29/12/09 at 07:15 PM

It's been a bit fresh here but not too bad.
I had roses blooming on Christmas day this year as well.
