
I bought a new phone on boxing day and wanted to port my number from 3 to Vodaphone. Found out that the porting dept was closed after buying the phone
and was told it would be open today.. Just been told that they won't port my number until the 4th Jan. Vodaphone have to have the PAC code at
point of sale and they do not offer a temp number... What bad planning! Not as if they didn't know the holiday was coming!
I am livid to be honest... Is it me or are they out of order?

Its always the same at holiday time, the business' front end is open to sell, but no back office support, all taking extended hols and closing
the office.
Its a cost thing, staff taking leave, and not needing the office to be heated etc.
na i think it is bad planning to be honest - they should of known people - fones - christmas - lets make sure we can cover.. they should have a
charter to give customer service somewhere covering that perhaps
my wife works in orthopeadic plastering dept - they have all been asked to work new years day due to the excess of people falling over on the ice -
but get this - no axtra payments or days in leu - so guess the answer by most - bad planning
not want you want, but thats the way it is. everyone doing that will get the same treatment, not just you
