Hi
Dose anyone have any advice on what is the best Mobile Internet package for a laptop. It's for a youngster so will be on line all day FB probably
Any that are to avoid or come with good recommendations.
Thank in advance.
Cheers Matt
We (me and gf) use vodafone. We looked into coverage mostly. You can get coverage maps on most of the big providers (orange, O2, vodafone etc) We still get signal (not 3g, but better than nothing) in some really remote places
Currys have a good deal on O2 at the mo
I personally only have experience of T-mobile. Generally I get as good reception (broadband) as I do mobile coverage.
In other words dont buy Orange if you cant get coverage at the location where you will be using it mostly.
Also I dont get any coverage when on a train, when I most need it. Instead I have to rely on the wifi t-mobile hotspots provided by various train
service providers or station cafe's
Three PAYG - £5 per month 'fair use' (roughly means about a gig allowance)
If your lappy doesn't have a sim slot then a Three dongle is £19.99
If you search my recent posts you'll see I helped Liam out in a similar thread
Edit: found it.... LINKY

Had t-mobile couldn't get coverage evne thought vodaphone 3 and O2 had 3 g coverage in that area.
As for 3 Don;t seem to get GPRS cover when out of 3g area but that could be me.
I have been spending some time in Taunton and got a 3g dongle.
They admit the coverage is no brilliant down there, but I am highly satisfied with speed and allowance.
Hi
Thanks all looking like Vodafone at the mo. But will see how it goes when in the shop.
