Finaly got my arse in gear and got my CBT/lessons booked so i can get my full bike license.
Cheaper than i thought. going to cost about £400 all in.
So to give me a bit of inspiration lets see what you guys have already.

Whats the R1 like to ride? comfy? or just good for short blasts?
I'm 6'4, and its the comfiest sportsbike I found, I do at least two overseas trips a year, no problem, off to Assen later this month.
When I take it out its a proper outing, at least 200 miles.

zx7r (p2) not the most comfortable but wonderfully under rated, superb front end, a little heavy but with a dynojet lit and race can a little
suspension adjustment it'll show up a lot of much more modern kit.
Pictures in photo archive, last picture taken a week ago, unfortnately the blckie in the background is also mine ( sold an RSV Mille to buy it )

i seem to have non existant sense of speed over 40mph....i have crashed a pushbike more times than i have stayed on one....i havent fallen off a car yet....

I really miss this bike, it is a Harris GP250 chassis with a Rotax 640cc single cylinder, wet weight was 122kgs.
the frame was a work of art.

i did have a cb500 till a saxo committed suicide against it, still got the yam RD350 F2, with tzr3ma forks wheels and swing arm. Now the accidents in the past hoping to get out and about on 2 whhels and 2stroke again this summer

Guilty as charged your honour.. Thought it'd be easy but f me. What a nightmare. Took me two seasons to give it up though.
French champions in 03 and 04. Showed the youngsters how to do it and then hung up the leathers....
