vinny1275 - 9/7/10 at 07:59 AM

Hi all,

ETA:

She hadn't got far, she found a house round the corner with a pool in the back garden and was trying to get in it - the house owners took her in until they could get hold of the dog warden this morning...

Someone on the Husky forum's dog has got out, from Rawmarsh in Rotheram - she escaped last night. She looks skinny as she's got 6 pups..

Maybe she's gone to join the man hunt down the road?

You say she's chipped? - What horsepower does she make....

Coincidentally, on Radio 4 yesterday there was a Husky breeder talking and she said that once a Husky gets off the lead, they just run, without stopping.

Sounds dodgy to me

Yep, their recall is rubbish, and they'll run for hours and hours.....

Charles Darwin might have something to say about that.

A mate has one and boy does that beastie run, never gives up like it's on acid or something...cracking mutt though.

Our dog took off after a rabbit this morning and tried to squeeze through some farm machinery during the chase... she now has two 1cm chunks out of her head! Hope the fur grows back-in once the wounds heal!

Perhaps now she'll realise that she can't fit through the same spaces that rabbits can (although I doubt it!). Talk about single-minded determination!

PS - hope the Husky gets home fine! Lovely looking dog!

HURRAH... and what the hell let's have a HUZZAH to go with it too!

Looks like a thinner version of our Mal...
