I have come in but am only open for emergencies with my parents vans.
I know its not as much as you lot up north but its more snow than i have ever seen in Eastbourne. We normally dont have anything!!!
Me
Me too, but there's no reason not to, it's over 25 degrees and never snows here! There's nowhere quite like Saigon for Christmas!
Me. Never taken the day off for the weather yet. Not in work = not open = not earning. Wish I could get hold of snow tyres though as I could sell
dozens of them. I'm sick of mopping out the workshop of melting snow from cars. We sweep as much off as we can but there's still gallons of
water on the floor.

Me, but 2 days out of the 5 I usually work from home with the other 3 days on site - thankfully today was an admin day
Me... "at work" as in "working at home" as per usual, so no excuses!
I drive hgv's for a living, Went to work at 22.00 last night, only to be told go home,
Me. It's warmed up to around freezing and there are some icy roads but we've still only had a total of around 5mm of powder to date.
Me - at home where I normally work so no excuse not to
Went out to clear the paths and cars first thing and lobbed a few snowballs at the neighbour as he was heading off to work - he's not the most
jovial chap in the world though
I'm always at work
Me too, same as Tomprescott though, 26 deg here in Pakistan, oh well.....home to the good stuff on Saturday (assuming the aiports are open of course)
snow is up to the top of the wheels on the tintop havent been into the office for 3 days now as its 50miles away. dug a path out to the workshop this morning put the heater on and am now having a cup of tea sitting on the computer , workshop temperature is up to 16degrees and rising, have already had to take my jumper off
me. and it's starting to annoy me, i want some snow days!
Me - but I had to walk and nobody else is in. On the plus side Russ just rang and is sending me some shiny stuff for the car!
Description
Me too - I start at 11 today - I teach driving.
If my learners can drive in this stuff then there is no reason for folk to have problems. OK its pretty flat here so not so many hills to contend with
and there is only about 18 inches of the stuff. But hey we still still lots of folk struggling here (South London/North Kent)
Does amaze me how little some folk know about driving in this. Prize comment last year in the snow. First time driver on very snowy side roads said to
his dad. - "what's the problem - how come you can't drive in this ?"
Simple - dad drives auto BMW on "hard" runflats and with not a clue how to use anything but "D" with losts of gas !! - learner did
not go over 15 mph.

Gillingham VOSA is closed :-)
Me.
Here in Peterborough its more 'a bit wet' than snowy.
Ice on the minor roads is the biggest concern
Im in today. couldnt get in yesterday though. I made a big snow plough for one of our Fork trucks, and went around our big yard clearing out the
arease we need to be in. Since then 2 of our neighbouring companies have borrowed the plough to clear their yards
whilst driving around all i could think of was this:
Me! Who ever new the Isle of Wight could be so, white!?

I'll be later keeping the bread and milk flowing to your local Coop
I'll try not to replicate the news last night showing a coop truck in a ditch
I'm in as well. This is the Isle of Wight!!!

I'm in, but do work from home but am heading for Bristol tomorrow. Not enough snow here to make a snowball.......so want to go sledging with the grandaughter.
I am in.
Only a couple of inches of snow here.
I'm at work - but remotely, from home! Isn't modern communications technology wonderful!
Working at my desk, 10 foot away from a nice toasty log burner...
I've just finished. Been driving about between Hampshire and Croydon today. The radio keeps telling me it's a disaster where I am, which is news to me, roads are clear and no traffic whatsoever because everyone has pussied out of work...
I'll be Bongoing off to work tonight. According to the media, the A169 is totally blocked. We'll see about that in three hours!!
Had to shovel 2' of snow off a 100' long scaffold before we could continue erecting it in a white out in Edinburgh, if we dont turn up for work we dont get paid already missed 2 shifts this week already, at least they let us away early at 4:00pm
Ive just done 13 hrs and its snowing like buggery here and now.

In work now, but the last bastion of getting snow has about 2 inches... Last year I was going to work on a moped with a barely legal back tyre (would be this year but had cba with getting the insurance sorted)
