Well I havnt seen the game (I cant stay up that late here) but I know how you feel.
My home town hockey team got beat for the Stanley cup due to usless refing. Ohh that made me mad.
BTW, how are the Celtics doing? I was in the UK for 1 month last year and football really got under my skin, I wish I could follow it better here.

thanks bleep its all over.........well it is now, we can all get back to our normal lives. I heard on 5 live this morning during an interview with an
ENGLISH fan who is also a REFEREE, that the ref blew up as the ball was being crossed in NOT when campbel jumped up to head it in, so the ref was not
blowng for the "foul" on the keeper but for another incident.
I also noted the complete lack of coverage of the Portugese disallowed goal, why do English teams always think they are hard done by when they
loose?
and as for the penalty spot, yes it was a disgrase but it was the same for both teams, and Owen even confessed afterwords to the team having practiced
on it the day before and knowing it was dodgy, therefore surely they should alter their technique to suit the conditions, but i guess its far easier
to blame the ref or the ground or something else unrelated than yourself.
Glad they are out is all i can say
