SPD strikes again.I'm in the process of finishing my MK Indy bought as a part finished kit from SPD,the front off side track rod end has had half the thread cut off and the wrong nylock nut fitted ie only locking on the nylock. The propshaft spline had been fitted out of square and also at a angle.Not visible untill connected to prop. adapter and engine run up.
Not the best of workmanship!

How the hell do they get away with it

sorry to hear that Titch ...... is it SPDs chassis ...... they did ALLEGEDLY make a copy of MKs ...... so is the car an MKindy ............. i dont think Martin would be very happy his name on there car

I dont think SPD's or MAC 1 motorsport products should be quoted as MK indy's.

woodster,yes it is a MK, one that SPD bought off MK's before Martin stopped him buying them.He was originally buying them off Martin,building them and selling them as his own.When he sold me mine the bodywork was to follow but it never appeared(although it was paid for!) After numerous phone calls i eventually got a cheque and ended up getting the bodywork off Martin.
