OT which laptop/netbook/tablet

I am looking for a new laptop or netbook or tablet. I have around £500 to spend, I need to be able to connect my printer to but everything else i have is wireless. I travel alot so has to be small (this is why I'm thinking about a tablet). It will be used for surfing the web, downloading and watching media. Any suggestions or recommendations would help.

I love my asus eee for travelling as its got usb, web cam, wireless, solid state hard drive, 3 hour battery life, screens a bit small but its ok if you're not using it all the time and I just do a bit of web surfing/skyping and email.

I would also never pay over £80 for one off the bay but would always buy a new battery for it though for £30

Cheers

If you want small portable and need to do any input via keyboard then you want a netbook £200 or so will get a reasonable one with a 10" screen, mine came with Windows but has been loaded with Mint Linux as a dual boot. Acer, EMachines and HP do nice net books.

If multimedia is the prime use then you consider a tablet device you can always add a usb or Bluetooth keyboard, ignoring the Apple option the choice being between Android 3 and Windows.

If you interested in an iPad, I'm considering upgrading mine to an iPad 2, so there could be a deal to be done on my existing one.

Absolutely mint, always been kept in official Apple case, 32GB 3G model bought retail from Apple store so will work on any network, with original box, receipt and all accessories.
