We just bought a new Pirelli P6000 225/45 17 to go on the Volvo due to a puncture. It was £144.89 from kwik fit. Good deal or bad deal??

wouldn't go to kwik fit if it was the last place on earth!

i'm going to get my next set of tyres from my tyres

obviously u gotta get em fitted but the saving still makes it worth while, i can't even get tyres that cheap at trade price!

If you bring your own tyres do the fitters still take your old ones as it's getting expensive to get rid of them now. I've heard some charge for disposal if you just have the tyres removed and don't buy new from them.

i would have thought that would have been taken into the fitting price but can't be 100% sure on it because i'm lucky enough to be able to get rid of old ones at work

my local council refuse centre takes tyres for free still. Ive left them about 8 recently.

Would definately recommend My Tyres, full set of Toyo Proxes 195 50/R15 82Vs for £128 inc vat and delivery. As far as getting rid of the old ones, the fitters didn't have a choice, I've only got two seats and a very small boot!
