Didn't they intoduce the guy sitting next to Johnny Herbert as the 'Original Stig'?

If so, it's a bit of an ITV spoiler isn't it?

Or am I behind the times and this is common knowledge?

Top Gear never actually announced it but the original stig has been common knowledge.
