Any ideas?

What name are you using and could it already be in use?

Adrian

Top right of the home page is a green box, create account. It has just worked fine for me!

theduck - 5/11/11 at 12:50 PM

Using same name as on here. Will try another.

Dusty that's what I have done but when I submit the form I get that error

You don't really want to belong to a group that would want you as a member do you?

dave r - 5/11/11 at 01:50 PM

the forum is running different software, have let the webmaster know

I signed up a couple of weeks back using my locost name. No problems at all (and I'm all-but computer illiterate).

theduck - 5/11/11 at 10:33 PM

Now accusing me of being a known spammer! On a different connection from earlier as well. They really must not want me on there!

RK - 6/11/11 at 12:10 AM

Don't feel bad; I've been banned from the locostusa site for some reason too. Maybe I said something at one time, I don't know.

It's U isn't it or is it Salt Lake City where all the Morons live ? It may be your IP address which is causing the problem or the email address you are trying to sign up with. I had problems with fsmail address on a forum but it let me join with a hotmail address.

theduck - 7/11/11 at 07:15 PM

Well tried again now and can't even browse the forum from my home connection. Have emailed the admin for the site. Really bit a good start though and if it wasn't for te fact I am going to be acquiring a robin hood soon I'd have given up by now!

Alfa145 - 7/11/11 at 07:40 PM

Can you browse the site and try signing up from a different connection? maybe a work or a friends or a mobile device? Sounds like there's an issue with either your connection or your PC, what that problem is I have no idea though

theduck - 9/11/11 at 10:00 AM

Have now tried 4 different internet connections, (2 work, mobiles 3G and home) and 3 different email addresses and still wont let me sign up. Not heard anything back from the site admin either. Giving up as a lost cause, which is a shame, as it looked like it might have been a helpful forum/club.

Alfa145 - 9/11/11 at 10:13 AM

It is a very helpful forum and club. SHame you can't get on, I'll message the site admin again for you and see if he can sort it out.

theduck - 9/11/11 at 08:43 PM

It works! Big thanks to mat-d-rat for all his help.

theduck - 10/2/12 at 10:37 AM

And it's broken again...

dave r - 10/2/12 at 04:40 PM

what error is it giving you ?
working for me

Alfa145 - 10/2/12 at 05:47 PM

Working fine for me too. Have you forgotten your password?

theduck - 10/2/12 at 07:08 PM

Same error as before. Though it's working on my work connection but not my mobile one.
