Well after 3 months of not being able to find a job, I am considering of opening my own business.

I am looking into partneship with my brother on call centres but as i do not want to be fully dependand on what he started, i was thinking that i should look into home and business CCTV systems.

Are there any experts in the house who have experience in these that can provide advice in a couple of questions that i might have?

Try to get a copy of BS8418 and NCP104 this will help with the installation and maintenamce side of things. I dont thimk you will have to comply to the standards but its better to know what they are.

Edit: I just noticed your location is Greece so these might not help.

When you say you are looking at call centres what do you mean exactly supplying equipment for them telecoms etc. As regards to CCTV we install it but its a bit of a no hoper as so many people have jumped on the band wagon, alarm fitters, telecoms guys such as myself and sparkies to name a few. Like most things these days when a new product is launched the time it takes for every one and his dog to have a go is getting shorter and shorter, solar panels seem to be the latest thing that everyone thinks will make them rich.
With regards to CCTV Ive found that most customers expect something off of a James Bond movie, being able to read a book from a thousand paces, cover a car park with one camera and still being able to read the number plates on every car for very little money.
If I can help u2u me and I'll do my best.

Cheers,
Bob
