Swimbo is well impressed, nice new 8 seater dining table nicely positioned in middle of conservatory in time for Xmas, how thoughtful of me ?

Tell you what though, with the top off it makes a mean slate bed pool table..........

Just make sure you haven't covered it with bits of car by Christmas Day

and just to balance things......
Whilst SWMBO is away helping sort out her Grandpas funeral arrangements, I've burnt 23 violins/cellos/violas and given away her favourite sofa. All things that, imho, were getting in my way. I'll be at work tonight when she gets back......

At least it is Sunday night and she can't get anyone to change the locks at home.

I wish my mrs were as easy to please, she's been looking for a new car on and off for ages, everything meets with - "I prefer what I already have", and leaing the showroom.

How many arms would you need to play so many stringed intruments? More than she has, that's for sure. And how many arses would she need to have to fill the two sofas we already have, plus the chairs, without even finding 'her' sofa under a huge pile of violins, violas and cellos?!

I recall my mate spending a fortune on one of those snooker tables with a dining table cover on. It was brilliant as long as those wanting to sit at it had no legs.

Leave me the 'Turd' and the De-dion in your will mate, so I can campaign it in your honour in 2012

Sounds kind of suicidal to me.
