Fiat Uno Rev Counter
andylancaster3000 - 15/8/04 at 11:15 AM

I feel a bit cheeky asking this here but I have just got a Fiat Uno that hasn't got a rev counter on it. Its a small engine that is very smooth and quite so I can't hear it half the time!

I'd like to fit a rev counter but its got an electronic ignition, so how do i go about it???

Thanks, Andy.

If its a series 2, get a set of clocks of an SX from the scrappies and fit the whole thing, the wiring is already in place

Does that mean to say that the wiring for the rev counter is in my car anyway??

If i put some sx clocks in how will i adjust the odometer. Ive only got 30000 miles on the clock at the moment and id like to keep it that way!!!

Thanks for the help,

Andy.

Extract the speedo from the binnacle (4 screws), and put it into the new one

or, disgracefully, keep the clocks on 30k until you sell it! its legal so long as you dont say the milage is correct.
