Wanted, Rushden area, gas fitter/plumber
jollygreengiant - 13/1/12 at 10:32 AM

As per the title really, I am, as a result of being let down as of yesterday, and all phone calls currently just ringing out to answer-phone, looking for a gas fitter or plumber to fit a new gas hob for me. It is something that a few (twenty odd) years ago I would have done myself but with regulations etc, these days, I would prefer a certified person to come and do it. Folding notes of a suitable quantity awaiting if there is someone who COULD do it. Preferably in the Higham Ferrers/Rushden/Wellingborough area.

Just thought I would ask on here first and I put it in this section 'cos its not in the least car related except it will help with bacon butties when its fitted.

Ta very muchly

Clive.

hi mate. I guess you've already had a scan through the gassafe website? When im working out of area (fitting kitchens) i can usually find someone within a few streets to do hobs etc, and when its very close to home they often squeeze you in same day as a quick cash job before tea!

Cheers for that Joel, no I hadn't had a scan, TBH I didn't know about it, but hadn't started trawling through anything yet, I thought I'd try and give first refusal (hopefully) to someone on here, If, there was anyone that was interested. but so far there seems to be no takers. I will give it a look see during next week when I have calmed down a bit more about one who was supposed to be doing it.

Does this mean you are cooking Sunday lunch on the pink barbie?
