Returns Sunday at 8pm! Queue the entertainment versus serious motoring programme debate!
if you don't like it, don't watch it, and no need to comment!
I can't wait
wonder what the Nascar bit will be?
I'll watch it and if it's rubbish, I'll watch it again next week. If I really can't watch it, there's dozens of buttons on my remote to make it go away.
i'll probably miss it, more because i'll forget than because i dont want to see it. Its a shame because im sure there will be a few good bits but i cant bear to watch any more nonsense! Maybe i should sky+ it and only watch the good bits!
Roll on the 3 stooges - it finishes my week off nicely with a beer and a giggle
i'll series link it. is on bbc HD as well?
Im with JoelP on this one, i used to watch everyone, yet now, cant be bothered to watch mr egotistic, and his ugly sisters
one hour of useless twaddle on BBC,
so apart from the news and weather, thats about 23 hours a day of useless twaddle on most channels now
^^^you think the weather is good?

To be honest if it has cars in, or bikes I'll watch it and enjoy it.

Bob.
I used to really enjoy top gear, and still do for about half the time. I do find some bits are just toooo stupid now. For instance in the india one
recently, the last bit where they play 'cricket' was fun, some of the touring about bits were quite good, but the I found the trade mission
and tearing the signs on the train to make rude words just made me cringe. I also dislike the bits where they just break stuff for no reason.

Cant wait, there is bugger all else on for the rest of the week, at least I get one hours viewing for my license money.

A: Like it/still a good laugh/bit of escapism
B: I have a sore tooth, I'm going to keep prodding it.
The episode with the motor home challenge really disgusted me, Clarkson was shown in several shots driving a clearly un-roadworthy, highly unstable
illegal vehicle on a extremely busy motorway clearly risking the lives of other road users.

Yep... was scratching my head at that episode.
I can only assume that they were doing it under escort and that the other vehicles / drivers were under BBC contract. Sounds mad, but they have the
budget to do it (and there's no way they would have got away with what they were up to otherwise).

more likely that the BBC have a pretty hefty insurance policy for the show that they want to make sure they get their moneys worth for!

BBC don't make Top Gear they buy it in.
Can't decide if I'm a simpleton for watching it or not....?
It usually makes me chuckle and I have no objection to seeing nice cars hammered round a track. The guests are generally OK - I particularly enjoyed
Brian Johnson (AC/DC). The road trips generally throw up some interesting scenery and amusing locals. Although I agree some of the "Brits
abroad" behaviour isn't too favourable - stars and stripes motorbike in Vietnam wasn't great IMHO.
Anyway, I'll be watching on Sunday with a beer!
