I have been searching for hours, but hopefully one amongst the plethera of geniuses that frequent this forum can help me.
The section of throttle cable that opens the oil feed valve (or something) has snapped on my bike. Aprilia dont supply the cables any more, and
urgently need a replacement. Does anyone here know of anywhere that can manufacture a cable if I send them the original?
As soon as I get this done I can get my bike backon the road.
many thanks
Mark
You might try http://www.speedycables.co.uk/ who are pretty resourcefull.
try trawling ebay, including the items for sale in the usa. its suprising what you can find for older bikes in there.
google is also a good one to try - several companies sell original or copy cables.
Ive got a 1976 kh250 kawasaki triple (had it a week now) and there are plenty of cables for it using the above search tools.

that bloody thing comes up whenever you look up kh250 on google.
its a REAL bike, its not photoshopped.
The guy sitting on it is rick brett, who is a bit of a guru on the kawa triples.
