Weird request here, did anyone drive to silverstone F1 last year? specifically on qually day? If so can you drop me a U2U - hoping you can remember traffic conditions!

hi there, we went a few years ago.
qually day was fine, race day you need to get there early to get a decenct parking place that is not miles away.
also we came in from a different way, not the a43(i think thats it) as we used to live buckingham side.
so if you can come that way you miss most of the queues.

I'm actually not trying to get to silverstone this year, but trying to work out the best time and route to go north via towcester on the A5...

Yes went the Friday qualy day last year, no problem at all with the traffic, drove straight into the car park & drove straight out at the end, mind it tipped down with rain most of the day.
