Ever since my 50 th birthday last Friday, my friends have been asking me if I feel old. I having been telling them NO! But today I got a welcome letter in the mail inviting me to join the AARP,(American Association of Retired Persons)! Well that sure does change my outlook.

I think the moral is:

Get some new friends...

They start arriving as soon as you hit 50. I never told them when my birthday was. It's nice to know someone's interested though .

look on the plus side your birthday just passed and now you cn say that you are half a hundred years old!

Happy Birthday mate!! Don't let them get you down.

I filled in one of those Saga brochure request forms in, as a joke, for my dad on his 40th birthday. He went mad, and nearly sued them! Whoops.

AARP's about as useful as tits on a bull. Just chop up all their stuff and send it back to them in their return envelope. They'll take you off the list soon enough.

Just because you're 50 doesn't mean you can't be juvenile
