keith777 - 9/4/12 at 08:40 PM

I thought a vette was a car

Daddylonglegs - 9/4/12 at 08:48 PM

Well if we weren't confused before, we sure as heck are now!

blakep82 - 9/4/12 at 09:00 PM

'vet school' i think the program was called, him and trude mostue(sp?) were the main ones qualifying as vets along with a few others, then he went on to present 'a whatever is born' and now he's back with this

macspeedy - 9/4/12 at 09:03 PM

I agree with blake !

Mark Allanson - 9/4/12 at 09:09 PM

He was not just a vet, but the RSPCA chief vet, quite a talented chap on the quiet. Comedy attempts were crap though!

Mark Evans ?

Daddylonglegs - 10/4/12 at 06:21 AM

Not done much with his life then?

I feel even more inadequate now

David Jenkins - 10/4/12 at 08:47 AM

He was a vet before becoming a TV presenter. He started to do local TV programmes, where he famously told the overweight owner of an obese dog that not only would the dog benefit from less food and a lot more exercise, but so would she!

The TV executives realised that he had potential...

Mark Evans is one of my heros, a man who certainly hasnt wasted his life.

I don't see him as heroic, and he's done the odd cheesy gardening program in his day - but I think he's pretty ace and definitely underrated/unrecognised for his achievements...

I started watching the program and it was pretty good...
