The radio was full of paula today who cares she didn't finish. I never finished painting the kitchen walls but somehow i don't think that will be reported on the news tomorrow or is it becos i is not famous

Used to see Paula regularly as a teenager. She ran for Bedford and I ran for Luton. Both teams used the same coach to go to events. She was always a very quiet and non assuming person. Can't fault her trains hard, believes in herself (although she lets the pressure get too her sometimes). Sometimes wish I had stuck at the athletics for longer, who knows I may have got to her level too ?

i am just taking it up again after a few years off( i throw the shot), partly because i saw the shot final and was really dissapointed with the standard and partly because i saw a few people being intervied in athens that i knew quite well before i stoped throwing. i did quite as a junior got quite close to the welsh record

used to run 1500m, 3000m and cross country plus a whole host of road racing stuff (mainly 10K though). gave it up when I discovered girls and alcohol !!! Competed at county level regularly (unfortunately not at the girls and alcohol game though )

Only do martial arts now and ride my mountain bike when possible.

i am just starting the weightraining and i forgot how much of a killer it is, i've only been doing it 10 days and i have already lost about 8lb

Just seen some breaking news on the TV - apparently some Scot didn't manage to finish painting his kitchen walls and the knock-on effect is the economy is on the brink of collapse.

The police are starting a nationwide search, let's hope they get him before it's too late!
