Calling on the font of knowledge....
My ageing HTC HD2 work phone is up for a change. The battery performance went down hill badly after 18 months and after replacing the battery for a
genuine HTC one it hasn't really improved (lasts less than a day with light use). HTC support don't have anything to say other than
"do a hard reset" (which I've already tried).
The HTC has been great for work email (Outlook syncing etc.) and has a decent sized screen, but limited by Windows Mobile 6.5 and it's heavy
too.
Our mobile provider has suggested the following HTC handsets as free replacements, but I know nothing about them TBH...
HTC Desire S
HTC Desire C
HTC Rhyme
HTC One V
My main requirements are battery life (as always), email, camera, wifi router and O2 network.
What do people use and recommend?
Had the original Desire, great phone but getting on a bit now. It needs a daily charge or if used alot then carry a charger. But all the modern phones
are the same.
HTC One V is the newest on your list.
Go to your local phone shop and have a look/play with them see what you think.
