Was out in Newcastle last night and came across the BrewDog Bar. Never heard of this before so I had a couple of pints of Punk IPA

Damn good stuff - quite different but want more

Then I discover that you can buy it online - BrewDog now where's my credit card

Cheers!

Tesco's stock Punk IPA most of the time, or they did last time I looked anyway.

That's where I first came across it - as you say it's a nice drink

And, this is about the only that wouldnt get trashed inside 5 minutes if you left it parked on the Big Market...

And, still no closer to me beloved Killkenny Irish Ale.....

I wouldn't even go to the Bigg market on a Friday night now - those days passed me by some time ago!

Aye, your better off starting next to the Central Railway Station and working down towards the Quayside.

Factory is on my doorstep. I don't rate their stuff I'm afarid and one of the Directors is a poo driver. Nearly had me in a ditch as I was overtaking him. He pulled out to overtake a lorry ( that he'd had 20 miles to pass already and didn't Cause I waited patiently).
Maybe his own stuff had been killing his brain cells ( if he had any) TWAT

Quite like their tactical nuclear penguin. Tastey stuff.

Say what you mean - don't beat about the bush!

I did say what I meant but without any of the obscenities used at the time.

Their stuff is pretty good. Not the best, but another world compared to your usual 'english bitters' and the likes of carling/Stella/Peroni etc.

I know their marketing is very edgy etc, but I fully support what they've done for beer. I regularly go to their bar in camden, as well as a few others around the area that are similar. If you like strong alcohol, give tactical nuclear penguin a go (as already mentioned). It's pretty crazy but very good

If you like the style, then give mikkeller a go. If you can get hold of some mikkeller green gold, then that will blow your mind! Otherwise, go back to the bar and speak to the guys there, they'll be helpful and introduce you to a load of new stuff.

If you want to order things online to give some similar stuff a go, I've tended to order from beer ritz, beeersofeurope and realale.

Another beer that is available in waitrose you should try is the Goose Island IPA. It sits nicely between the punk IPA and the Hardcore IPA by brewdog.

I could quite happily do a very long list of beers to try, but if you do want a few reccomendations, do ask!
