Reports that the Spanish Police have arrested an al Qaeda terrorist group in two towns in southern Spain one the towns appears to be La Línea de la Concepción (usually called La Línea) which is the town that border Gibraltar.

This would seem to indicate Gib was the most likely target

Is Gibraltar still ours?

Very similar status as Channel Islands --- recently more demands from Spanish demanding it back. Most of the population is of mixed Maltese, UK, Spanish North African. Portuguese, Italian origin 90%+ of the population count them selves in the census as Gibraltarian or other UK.
