I have a book on Kindle for PC but I can't read any of the annotations on the drawings in the book, they are too small.

Does any one know how to zoom in I don't appear to be having any luck?

Kindle Cloud Reader lets you read Kindle Books in a browser window, it is nicer to use and works better than Kindle for PC.

Although it has zoom in it maps in books can still be a problem becacause they are usually just scanned in from paperback size.
