Anyone watch ray mears on the box last night, what a refreshing change from the worst neighbours from hell doing a house ups big brother street shite were normally expected to tune into.
Cheers,

I love Ray Mears (not literally, that would be hideous) I've seen all his programs so far and thought this new one took a refreshing approach to the whole survival/bushcraft world. Lovely stuff

Here in blighty joel, showed how cavemen made flint tools etc he copied a bow and arrow thousands of years old and made it entirely from flint tools very interesting.

tricky guy! just remember, if you ever find yourself trekking thru iceland, when you leave the survival hut in the morning, remember to leave a few matches sticking out of the box - that way, if you or anyone else gets there with frostbite, theres still a chance of you lighting a match and staying alive! apparently its impossible to open a match box and grab a match with frozen fingers (i could believe it too...)

Yep. I caught it the other day too. Did you see him on the Thames with the ancient forest ? Very artistic stuff it was. Sun setting over Erith. What you didn't see was the F*****ing great scrap yard behind the camera. RJK's breakers yard is right on the Thames ! Top breakers yard if you need anything, they've got it !

keep it up Mears !!!
