sorry M8, never been a MK2, you dint think i would make it that easy did ya ?........it does contain a doner part as used on the "isonblade"
though......oh, and its that up to date the pic was taken today.....Sunday 22nd.

Marina?
Is it a Maestro?
mk4 escort by any chance???
mk 3 escort by the looks of it,looks like my ex has been shopping in it!
With them wheels it's gotta be either a Maestro or a Montego.

i go wit conrod mk3 escy wit either a body coloured xr3i or rs turbo front spoiler
I'll have to say maestro, as i've got the handbrake in my car(look about a bit!)
But I don't think his side impact protection will pass SVA.
not meastro/montego they have big plastic bumpers w/o a valence as such
Looking at the interior shot I would say it has the definite look of a BL product (the greatest manufacturer of joke cars ever known).
The fact that Mr ison has a Marina UJ in his locost, therfore leads me to conclude that it is a marina - seems to have survived in a better state than
many.
Wrong door handle for a marina!
Col.
You're right - didn't marinas have those allegroesque type door handles?
Could still be a montego or maestro door handle though - I won't let go of the BL theme.
regarding an earlier comment about plastic bumpers and valances:
The montego (I'm sad to say I owned one once) had a steel valance behind the plastic moulding - I suspect most people have never seen one however 'cos
it would normally have rotted off in the first few years of use.
The marina had the same handles as fitted to many a Lotus? Small world. The maestro had a steel valance, I think only the higher spec.ie MG got the plastic overcover.
Its probbly a fridge by now
I cant see anyone using a maestro/montego for banger racing, they would fold up like a OH!! well maybe it is then.
Seats look a bit hyundai as well,is that NOS in the back jon?
Just walked past a maestro the door handles and rear grease caps look familiar,so ill say its a maestro
