I'm resurrecting a BMW bobber-type project. This is the look I'm aiming for...
It'll be a fair-weather, once-in-a-blue-moon toy.
I'd like to keep things as simple as possible and have a 'clean' look for the bike, so I'm pondering the pro's and con's
of building for a daylight MOT only.
My only concerns are the lack of a headlight (I used to always ride with one on to help others see me coming), and the PITA of being stopped by the
police every time a car drives past me.
Anyone else have any other thoughts???
Never had a headlight on my old 86 CR500 Supermoto, never had a problem from the police, lack of indicators was more of a worry to me, always used arm signals but expected to get hit by a dozy motorist at some point!
Its a great look, but for the extra effort of fitting minimal lights, like the one in the pic I'd stick hem on. Might do one myself next year and the BMs are quite a quirky but lo cost route

Cheers guys.
It's still a collection of bits, so there's nothing exciting to see right now. I'll give you a shout when it starts taking shape.
I don't even ride bikes... but would love to own something that looks like that!!
Instead of a headlight, why not fit an LED, as a daylight running light ?
I have just fitted two to my 7, and are only on, when ignition is on.
That is one cool looking bike - get it built
I'm not a biker but thats is sooooooooo cool
