I would like to get a more up-to-date copy of either AutoCAD or AutoCAD LT to learn on as my 2000 copy lacks some of the features in the tutorials I'm following.

Found this site http://www.softshop24.com but I guess it's a bit questionable although I wouldn't actually be risking that much money and looks like they accept PayPal.

Has anyone bought from them or have any comments.

If you do a search for softshop24 you see lots of comments about unlicensed software, although no real evidence as far as I can tell. Paying by Paypal won't make any difference, you'll be getting what you bought so they won't want to know.

Although the domain is registered to someone in London.

Buying software through PayPal doesn't have any of the same protection something physical does. I've fallen for this trap before and didn't and couldn't get my money back.

I would also suspect it's a dodgy site. I would look elsewhere I think? If someone wanted to pay for illegal software I'm sure that same person could look elsewhere and find that same illegal software for "free".
