I loved the orginal, Ive enjoyed the new series but it is not in the same league as the old one. Henry Goodman is just too likeable as Humphrey.

Have to agree, The new version just isn't funny and the acting is dire.

I havnt seen it, as was never interested in the original,
But my take on i is, that any new run, especially with new main casting roles, never works

there are execptions to the rule, like James Bond, but most others do not work
