3 x Heineken in my local with sons, girlfriends and wife - Then San Miguel at home....

Sloan85 - 8/2/13 at 09:48 PM

A few John Smiths and now a small glass of Aberlour A'Bunadh. It's a lovely whisky.

Saturday is my night for drinking.

MikeR - 8/2/13 at 10:29 PM

Random something that was nice from Asda on offer. A sort of fruit cider that they have a serving suggestion of using a jam jar.

Would rather be drinking draft Aspalls cider......

Of the 30 year port i bought the misses for Xmas that she's still not opened.

bob - 8/2/13 at 10:40 PM

Famous Grouse, its been a bit of a tough week

nick205 - 8/2/13 at 10:41 PM

Girlfriends......we share everything in Northumberland.

matt_gsxr - 8/2/13 at 10:59 PM

Homebrew (Coopers Ale) mixed with bottles of 1664 (to make a Mickey Mouse) because I think I used the wrong sugar.

cs3tcr - 8/2/13 at 11:05 PM

Most likely a half dozen or more bottles of Canadian at the pub near work, followed by at least a half dozen pints of lager at my local, then a foot long Subway, then stumble home. Typical Friday for me, and should all start in about an hour once i'm off work.

phelpsa - 8/2/13 at 11:06 PM

At the moment, powdercoat fumes from welding.

Preferred... a good pale ale.

SteveWalker - 9/2/13 at 12:02 AM

Whisky and Coke. Don't worry though, it's cheap, cheap whisky. If I wanted a proper drink it'd be a single highland malt and totally unpolluted by anything!

Daddylonglegs - 9/2/13 at 07:31 AM

Whyte & Mackay for me

Peteff - 9/2/13 at 08:53 AM

Bishop's Finger, rather nice too.

bi22le - 9/2/13 at 10:44 AM

last night consisted of cools light before i left, cobra in the Indian, bishops finger out of the pump in my local (very nice and pump ale is my preffered) then a courvoisier night cap.

oh and i had a few shots because it was a friends bday. pink samboka, Yummy!!

bobinspain - 9/2/13 at 11:08 AM

Been off 'it' since New Years Eve' and combined with low carb diet, dropped 20lbs. All turning to rat-poo today though because of the rugby.

It's de rigueur to sup out here, especially 'sundowners.'

My favourite (latched onto it a couple of years ago) is a 'Gibson.' Gin with a splash of dry Vermouth and a silverskin onion.
I make 'em 'industrial strength' using a whisky tumbler 2/3rds full of gin, 4 silverskins, a dash of onion juice out of the jar and a hint of Vermouth.
Ernest Hemingway used to drink 'em and named his concoction a 'Monty.' (after the said man's preference for attacking the enemy only when the odds were ten to one in his favour). Thus, 10 parts gin, one part Vermouth.

Chin chin !!

P.S. I'm no drink snob by the way. I've done my share of 'minesweeping' in my time (needs must etc). However, The Macallan (12yrs is fine, but 18yrs exquisite) is out of this world if you like a tipple of Scotch.
P.P.S Supped cider (Red Rock) by the gallon 25yrs ago and moved onto Strongbow for a ten year stretch whilst here in Spain, but having seen what it's done to a couple of pals, I've binned it for good.
