Basically I've had an idea and want to know if it exists.
I want an MP3 player housed in a cassette converter like the one's you used to buy to use a personal CD player in the car, but without a wire
hanging out. I've seen it done with 8 trac, and I'm not sure how you'd control it, maybe put something on the wheel.
Anyone seen anything like this?
Quick google throws up this

Thanks. My Google Fu has been weak today as I couldn't find one.
Please don't use those USB chargers as shown in one of the Amazon links, the build quality of those is quite shocking (quite literally in some cases).
Wait a minute, you've been looking for a tape player so you can use it with a mp3 tape converter? Why didn't you just get one with mp3 capability? And don't say "for the original look" because I saw some today that have the "crappy" black look and can take mp3 cds or an sd card
nah, someone else on here was after a cassette deck, though I do prefer having a stereo that actually matches the car. I want a DAB next time I buy a car stereo I just was curious if the tape things existed, I don't actually have any music on MP3 even.
what a brilliant idea! I'm going to get this. Saves a big hassle with the iPod/FM transmitter thing, and the low fidelity.
