Five or six years ago my daughter decided to settle in Australia, and now she's about to become a full citizen there. We are now sorting out her
stuff so that we can ship it over, and for obvious reasons (cost!) we're trying to separate out and sell anything she doesn't want in Oz.
Amongst the stuff she doesn't want is her set of golf clubs in a bag. The problem is - we have no idea of the best way to sell them, and how
much to ask! I don't sell on ebay (life is too short) so I guess the next best thing is in the local rag.
Can any golfers suggest how much a set of second-hand golf clubs (about 12, I think) for a tallish woman would sell for? The clubs all seem to be
good (I'm no expert) but the bag's a bit tatty.
Depending on quality, they can be nearly worthless or several hundred quid.
Is there a manufacturer/make on them? ebay is handy for valuing things even if you don't use it to sell anything.

Just went and had another look - most of them are "Fazer Contender II", with a couple of other makes thrown in. There isn't a putter,
and one or two of the grips could do with replacing (tops a bit tatty).
I don't think they will have a lot of value, but I don't want to just get rid of them and find out that they were actually quite good!
A bit of research suggests that they are a budget starter set which are quite usable.
ebay and gum tree would suggest that if you can get £50 it would be a good price. A set has recently sold on ebay for £10 though.

Local papers are often good for things like this where the seller is going to be close by for collection. the other places I've sold stuff include local shop windows and most supermarkets have a free adverts board as well.
Good suggestions folks... especially the shop windows thing, which I'd forgotten about!

i still have my old Pinseeker clubs, and two bags, plus balls "t's" etc
and i couldnt even give them away!!!!!!!!!!
i feel loathed to take them down the tip, and even the charity shop didnt want them

Steve: have you tried freecycle - if there is a local one near you? I get rid of the most unexpected things on there!
