ordered a travel bag from a UK based seller with 100% feedback,it was suposed to be delivered by the 18th of this month,i mailed him a couple of days ago and got a short reply that he was on holiday.
do i ask for a refund or wait another week ?.
if i get a refund and the bag turns up,what do i do then ?.
sorry about the silly q,s but i have always been pleased by the sellers on the bay before and never had a prob

After hundreds of email deals over the years I have had 3 deals go wrong in the last 2 months, the irritating thing was none were big enough buys to raise a fuss about.

In your case the seller probably made a stupid error but you need your bag, so contact the seller again saying that unless you get a response within 3 working days you will demand a refund.

cheers BT will do.

You should also factor in Ebay timescales, they impose certain time limits on cases so it might be some time before you get that refund.

And there has been a recent Ebay change that caught me out. When you raise a question such as 'haven't received an item', a case does get raised automatically. I'm not sure whether a simple email contact would have done though.

Could be wrong here, but I think you can raise a claim 3 days after the due date. Not at all unreasonable. I reckon it should get stuff moving. If you get your refund and the bag arrives, you can email the seller telling him to arrange collection.

Yep, sounds about right, but it takes about a week (8 days?) for the whole process start to finish.
