A big thanks to Neil (Barkalarr) and his brother for their help with an eBay pickup - very much appreciated chaps!
The soap box kart is coming on nicely and should be ready for racing on June 30th - we're aiming for a class win

Good luck. There are indeed, what makes it such a good site!
We are going to some length to ensure success; calculated caster, camber, KPI, adjustable ackerman steering geometry, 50:50 weight distibution, MTB V
brakes, quick release wheels, aerodynamics....
...we'll probably crash out on the first run mind
Is this what you are making?

Looks like a lot of fun.

I think I would mount it on a tripod.
We're aiming for something more like below. The course is off-road in a cow field with long shallow S shape, quite steep at the start. Wheel
chair wheels at the front for single sided mounting, MTB wheels at the rear, cheap to source and easy to mount with brakes. 25x25mm box section
chassis, which will be plywood paneled to enclose the driver.
I'll post some picks as we progress.

No problem nick - appreciate the donation to the MS Society.
