I have some nice pics of our dog who past away earlier this week..

I would like to alter the background from bedroom and kitchen shots to nice fluffy countryside/blue sky.

Any clever dudes here point me in the right direction please?

Not a easy as you might think to make it look realistic anyway.

Sorry to hear about your dog passing away.....you have my deepest sympathy as we lost ours earlier on this year and it was the hardest thing I've been through.

Unfortunately, dogs just don't live long enough.

We have a puppy Pyrenean mountain dog now and will give her as good a life as we gave our last dog.

Certainly not fantastic effort, but this is a quick attempt...

I only met your "mutt" a couple of times, but he seemed a real character. I bet your home feels empty without him there.
Having had to bury a couple myself, I have an idea how you are feeling !

My one piece of advice, get a new on A.S.A.P. !

It's finding a background in the right proportions and putting the cutout on in a reasonable position. If you have a xector based program you can take the image as a layer and paste it onto the background.

Sorry to hear about your loss mate It's always damn hard when they move on! We lost our 15year old X last year and even though we now have our 14month old Goldie, who has taken the sting out, we still miss the old girl.

Sorry to hear of your loss, I know the pain you are feeling as I still get a heavy heart when I think of my old dog who passed away 14 years ago.
My current dog had a stroke on Sunday, had a steroid injection but showed no signs of improvement until I phoned the vet to ask if I could bring him in to have him put to sleep on Monday evening. He has continued to improve but I do not think he is out of the woods just yet and do not think he will be 100% ever again, but seems to be happy enough most of the time. Fingers crossed.
Getting another dog does lessen the pain although they can not remove it completely even though they will do their best to.
The little buggers find their way into your heart never to leave.

We have been dogless for a few years now, I couldn't face losing another after our collie died. We had her from 2 weeks old when her mother died and weaned her on baby milk and Weetabix. She had a stroke when she was 14 and with a little medication she lived another 4 years and was fairly active right up to the end. They do become like part of the family. We had a couple of terriers as well and he looks like he was a fine chap.

I would go straight for another little terrier but our lass is still in tears and says it wouldnt be fair.. not sure if she means us of on a puppy!

We'll see what happens...
