Just had a letter from the vets saying our mutt is due for his annual booster, both the vets my lad and my daughter use say this is only required
every 3 years.
The vet we use is renowned locally as a bit of a rip off merchant.
Anyone throw any light, looks like a change of vet is in order.
Cheers,
Bob
Get a vet that doesn't send reminders and take the dog when you want. Ours used to go every 3 years and were alright up to a ripe old age.
We do ours every year, but we took out a Vac4Life with Vets4Pets so is free..

We have found that the prices vets charge varies tremendously...the vac4life was only slightly more expensive than our local vet wanted for 1
years' injection...
ETA - All our pets over the last 35 years have been vaccinated annually...

Not had dogs for many years but I don't think our ever had jabs after their initial puppy ones!
Mine has a booster every year. Kennels I use insist on seeing the cert before taking a dog in. Lad that works for me took his back after 3 years
(because it was going in kennels) and had to have a full course over several weeks.
If you're a member on Pistonheads post the question inthe "All creatures..." forumsection. There's one vet and a vet nurse that
regularly post there.

ours gets kennel cough done annually, the kennels won't take him unless its done.
Mine have always had the booster every year and as they go in kennels when we go on holiday, they have the kennel cough vaccine to
