I think he is trying to refer to an increase in mpg due to the fact that it is no longer being stolen, rather than an actual increase in mpg. Could do with it on the site I currently work on, everybody seems to be running on cherry (apart from me of course).

i heard someone bragging about using agricultural derv and thinking all was ok after being stopped by the ministry...

You can use any fuel you like if you pay the tax on it. How does spending £35 on something to put in your diesel make it cheaper? If you ask someone how come their diesel is blue they will claim they bought the additive rather than admit they nicked it off you.

the local lads work on the open cast sites locally . The men from the ministery visited and all cars on site had cherry in them. Ouch the guys were all caught........
